So for whatever reason, this tradition went away…or at least no one has asked what I am thankful for for the last few years, which might be a good thing, since it would be quite the scandal if I had written “Obama” or “the end of the Bush presidency”.  “The success of the Texas Longhorns” might not have gone over well either…
