A Few Computer Parts
A few things that I ordered in Japan for my new computer were delivered today.
So far, the monitor, the CPU cooler, and the Blu-ray burner have arrived. The case has shipped and should get here in a day or two. The rest of the parts are on the way to my brother in Colorado. He should get them in a couple days, and then it’ll take about a week to ship them to Japan.

You better not use it for something gay like work, either.
It may be lame, but dual monitors and the big new screen are pretty sweet for work. I’m editing a paper now and really digging having more real estate for the Word document and an extra screen dedicated to the interwebs.
The case just got here. It is a beast. I knew it was gonna be big…but it is humongous. But I think I have a nice spot where I can fit it in.
One thing I’m going to have to be careful of is the top. There is a fan on top, so half of the top is nothing but fine metal grate. I’ll have to refrain from putting beverages on the side of desk next to the computer so the cat doesn’t knock shit in and fry my components.
No, dual monitors actually are nice for work. Seeing how cheap you can get smaller LCDs these days, it kinda makes sense to do it, too. When I get a real job and build my monster computer I’ll pick up a smaller monitor and keep my current one, which I love.
Nice setup. I have to chuckle a little at the HD-DVD part of the drive. Im shocked you can still find those around. Nice monitor.
For me though it will always be Apple! I really want this new labtop from them:

Actually you can get an insane amount of good deals on some HD-DVDs. I would start scouring the net for them. I know many sites have had major sales on them. You should pick up some Blu-Rays too sometime.
