Hi ! I love cats, what a great page this is, could any one advise me how to recognise when the real question in the listening test of jlpt 4 is asked ? I heard renshushimasu, somewhere in the tape, but I panicked and answered the practise question, I and am very depressed now... I want to pass the test this year but my teacher has little experiance with the test. Are there any step by step instructions or replica of just what I will hear on the day, availible ? Thank you.

ya, I'm not sweating it too much. I'm sure I'll be able to pass in July if I have to take it again.

And now that the test is done, I want to focus more on practical speaking skills and reading, so that will be good.

Don't get yourself down man, you did a good job, and I bet you may have done better than you think. I never have taken the JLPT, but as a Japanese degree holder I know how hard Japanese tests like it can be. Especially ones of the level you took as I took those in my college courses many times. I remember taking so many tests at Sophia and UT, particularly in my final year of college, where I thought I had certainly failed. But I had actually passed. I say don't worry about the results. When they come, whatever happens, happens. If you passed than awesome! If not, you can join my in July in taking it. Its all good :)! Remember what's really important is not this paper, but your ability. Being able to take the test and getting half right is really good no matter what. And you will do better next time no matter what grade you make.
