Here is an interesting post that a friend linked on facebook about the current happenings in Canadian politics. I’m sure all of you already know about coalition government and no confidence votes, etc. But I didn’t know some of the details about all the Canadian political parties and divvying up the seats in parliament.

M favorite party in Canada is the Bloc Qubecqois. Their main goal, succession for Quebec. VIVA JAY SHERMAN! VIVA QUEBEC!!!! (ok that was random and a very obscure quote).
Damn Ranma, I was going to write “Don’t blame me – I vote for Bloc Québécois!” but you beat me to it.
I love how in most of Canada, the signs are in English and French, but then you cross into Quebec and its only in French as a fuck you to the rest of the country.

Actually, most of Canada has signs in English only. Most of the bilingual signs are in Ontario, though I think New Brunswick has a few too. In B.C. (where I’m from), you’ll see more signs in Chinese than in French, and in some places more than even English.
